21,913. Norgate, C. P. Oct. 31. Handle bars saddle supports. - Relates to spring supports for the handle - bars or saddlepins of cycles, motor cars, &c. Fig. 4 shows the application to a saddle-pin. The pin a slides in a tube c, which is clamped as usual in the saddle - post. The motion is controlled by a spring connecting a cross-pin e at the bottom of the pin a, with a crosspin d secured in the tube c and passing through slots b in the pin a. The pin d may be replaced by a bolt, which may be passed also through holes in the saddle-post, so as to secure the tube c in position.
