Locking bolts.- Relates to a fastener for driving-belts which consists of a bolt with a thin-edged head and a non- circular point and a flanged nut, having on its outer face a non-circular rec@ into which, and over the point of the bolt, a piece of malleable metal may be forced in order to lock the two together. Other locking-devices may be used. The lower sides of the nut may be toothed or grooved. Figs. 4 and 5 show two nuts combined for a butt-joiut fastening. Figs. 6 and 7 show a key for turning the bolt, the head of which is formed with four holes.
