10,615. Lake, H. H., [Aeolian Co.]. May 22. Drawings to Specification. Automatic instruments.-The invention relates to tune-sheets which are more especially applicable to the mechanical operation of pianos. In order to produce a legato or sostenuto effect, the perforations in the tune-sheet are lengthened, when necessary, so that their rear end of each overlaps to a greater or less extent the leading ends of the succeeding note or notes. The note is thus prolonged beyond its ordinary time.
