Abstract

Cutting-machines for paper.-The gauge is formed in three or other number of parts 1, which can be adjusted with regard to one another and clamped upon the table 5, so that several piles of paper 11 of different lengths can be cut simultaneously. For enabling narrow strips to be cut from the piles, the base - plate 10 of the pattern is made removable, and both the platen and the gauge are provided with projecting webs or teeth 9, 7. When the webs of the gauge are passed between those of the platen, the latter presses upon only a narrow strip of the piles to be cut by the knife 6.
