Abstract

23,786. Corrigan, J. Nov. 29. Saws; tools.-Relates to setting diamonds and like hard stones in metal blocks for attachment to rotary or other tools for use in stone cutting or boring, sawing, &c. The block consists of two parts a, e or a', e<1> which are riveted or brazed together to hold the conical diamonds c, d in position. In the form shown in Figs. 5 and 6, conical holes are formed in the part a, and, in the form shown in Fig. 9, the diamond c is held in grooves in the parts a<1>, e<1>.
