6805. Saxinger, O. March 29. Stoppers.-Relates to a bottle stopper which is adapted to serve also for siphon bottles. The passage d, Fig. 2, in the stopper a is normally closed by the valve i mounted on the pins j &c., the valve being opened by the push g, against the internal pressure, to permit the contents to be discharged through the tube k and passage h. The tube k is secured in the bottle neck by a washer. The push g is surrounded by a packing- washer f, which serves also as a spring. The stopper is secured in the bottle by a bow fastening m. In the form shown in Fig. 5, the passage h opens on the top of the stopper. In a modification of the form shown in Fig. 2, the washer f is replaced or supplemented by a spring, and the valve i is attached to the push g.
