Abstract

26,677. Preston, A. Dec. 17. Escapements; pendulums.-A pendulum escapement is shown in front and side view in the Figures. The escape-wheel b is formed with an auxiliary lantern-wheel b<1>. The lantern-wheel is embraced by the diamond-shaped part i of the pendulum e, which carries the pallets h, h<1>. The pendulum is suspended from a spring f, which is carried by an adjusting-screw f<1>.
