Abstract

188,279. Leatherdale, A. J. March 13, 1922. Proving - appliances. - A collapsable device for separating pieces of dough during proving comprises side members 5. 6, 8, 9 and longitudinal and trans- -verse partitions 2, 3 which form bottomless chambers for individual dough pieces. The sides are made of canvas, fabric or the like stiffened by three-ply wood 11, 12, and the partitions of similar fabric sewn or otherwise secured to one another and the sides. The ply wood may be withdrawn from the side fabric. The device may be supported on the usual trough board or on a flanged tray 13 and several such devices may be superposed, or trays 16 having opposed flanges 17, 18 may separate the devices. The device may be constructed entirely of wood or metal hinged sections.
