187,794. Ramsden, H. Sept. 10, 1921. Gaiters.-The edges B of gaiters A for laminated vehicle springs are folded and the folds are secured by stitching F. Perforations C are formed in the turned-over portions to admit laces D so that the edges may be drawn together to meet as shown in Fig. 3, the laces being covered. A tongue H is secured to one side of the cover between the cover and the turned-over,portions B. The ends are secured by straps J.
