Vehicular lamps, directing.-Means for controlling the movement of motor headlights from the steering-gear comprises headlight brackets A, A' mounted rotatably on supports B, B' respectively secured by rods C, C<1> on the vehicle frame, ball bearings b being provided between the brackets and the supports, A bevel-wheel c on the spigot of each bracket engages with a like bevel-wheel d mounted upon an actuating bar D of adjustable length. This bar D is terminated by an arm E connected by a rod F and a ball-and-socket joint to a bell-crank lever G pivoted to a fixed part G' of the vehicle frame, and attached at its other end by a spring-pressed bolt H to the main actuating rod I, the other end of which carries a collar with a ball-and-socket joint J for connecting the system to the lever connected to the steering quadrant.
