Abstract

185,652. Ward, H. R. Oct. 4, 1921. Teeth-cleaning appliances.-The handle 11 of a toothbrush is bored to form a receptacle for a spool of dental floss 14, one end 20 of which is. drawn through a perforation in a disc of waxed moisture-proof cardboard 19 and through a perforated closure cap 16 screwed on the end of the handle 11. The cap is formed with a lip 18 under which the end of the floss is wedged, the edge 22 forming a cutter. The cap may be that used as a cover for a small bottle in which the spool of dental floss is sold.
