Abstract

185,318. Ducousso, T. Aug. 23, 1921. Operating and transmission mechanism applicable generally.-Railway points, when trailed through, are disconnected from the operating- mechanism by means comprising parallel or concentric rods 1, 5, the rod 1 being connected to tho points and having a head 2 which carries a block 10 or roller normally maintained by springs 11 between the inclined faces of two tappets 6, 7 which are provided on the bar 5 attached to the points-motor. In the event of an abnormal force or resistance, the block 10 moves over one of the tappets 6, 7 and holds the parts in their new position until re-set by the motor.
