Double and single fabrics combined; fabrics with tubular portions; fashioning, weaving to facilitate.- Shirt cuffs are formed of multi-ply interwoven fabric adapted for convenience in folding and in attaching to the shirt. In one form, Fig. 2, the fabric is woven of a width twice that of the cuff and with a central part 1, in which the interweave is omitted. The fabric is cut through the part 1 and the shirt sleeve placed between the two plies 5, 6 and secured by stitching. In another form, Fig. 5, the fabric is woven with a portion of single ply, which is cut through and stitched to the shirt sleeve. The edges of the cuff are finished by turning over and binding with tape. For double cuffs, Fig. 9, the blank is of twice the width of the cuff and has a tubular or singleply portion 4 at its centre to facilitate folding and a similar portion 1<a> at one edge for attachment to the shirt. The cuffs may be of various materials, and the outer ply may be of silk &c. and the inner ply of less expensive material.
