Depositing-machines.-Apparatus for depositing semi-liquid confectionery, for example paste for pancakes, comprises one or more cylinders 2, having inlets 3 communicating with a hopper 1 and outlets closed by spring-controlled flap valves 5, and plungers 6 reciprocated therein by levers 9. 10. The plungers automatically open and close the inlets and outlets, the latter being opened by contact with adjustable extensions 7 on the plungers. The effective volumes of each tube may be varied by means of a telescopic extension 4, the position of which may be adjusted by screws 12.
