Abstract
179,547. Scintilla, [Firm of]. May 4, 1921, [Convention date]. Riveted joints. - Where electric conductors are to be connected together and to an insulating support, particularly to an insulator of stratified structure, by rivets, loosening of the electric contact by shrinkage of the insulator is prevented by a metallic member or members surrounding the shank of the central rivet and taking the riveting pressure. The rivet f may be formed with a shoulder or shoulders e serving as an abutment for the conducting members a, b to be connected together, or an eyelet or eyelets h surrounding the shank of the rivet may transmit the pressure between the two heads of the rivet.
