Floor rugs, mats, &c.-A U-shaped device for securing mats, rugs, &c. to floors, the longer member A of which is secured to the floor by screws C, has a pair of splayed holes in each member A, B, so that a staple G may be inserted therethrough at an angle to secure the mat F. Grooves E leading to the holes in the member A ensure engagement of the staple in the said noles. A hole may be provided in the member B to allow the staple to be withdrawn by a tool.
