Multiplex signalling.-In an arrangement of apparatus for the simultaneous transmission of alternating-current signals of different frequencies and of directcurrent signals, the cable 2 is connected to a duplex bridge, direct-current signals being received by a siphon recorder 9, for example, between the arms of the bridge.
