Fabrics of varying thickness; fashioned fabrics; double and multiple fabrics; corded fabrics with integrally -woven Portions having crammed yarns. -A fabric driving belt is woven so that in crosssection it presents an angular form which is produced by a rib 5, Fig. 2, woven on the back cf the belt. As shown in Fig. 3, extra back warp 6 is added at the back of the belt, and also several ends of stuffing warp 12 are placed within the body of the fabric beneath the rib. The back pick 17 weaves through the extra warp forming the rib and is longer than the face pick 9 which weaves through the plain fabric on the face of the belting. The body of the belt includes stuffing warp 12 and binder warp 13.
