Golf-practising appliances.-Apparatus for practising golf in a parlour, garden, &c. comprises collapsable frame members A, Fig. 1, connected by cross-bars B, C and supporting a canvas enclosure. The canvas back 4 of the enclosure is attached to the cross-bars and to the backs of the frames, and to its upper edge may be sewn or otherwise attached a number of suspended and overlapping canvas strips 6. The " course " consists of an inclined strip 7 attached to the lower cross-bar and to the frames and formed with a " hole " 14 behind the suspended strips. The second suspended strip from the right, which preferably represents the continuation of the " course," is coloured differently from the other strips, which may represent the " rough." The wings 10, 11 of the enclosure may be sewn to the inclined strip and to the back strip and the wing 11 is cut away so as to enable the full swing of the club to be made. The frames are formed of upper and lower sections hinged together and the cross-bars of sections coupled together and having depending arms 2 which engage eyelets 3 secured to the frames, the arms of the upper cross-bar extending below the hinges 1 of the frames so as to support the frames. When practising driving, the ball is attached to springs 12 mounted upon loops 13 attached to the sides of the inclined strip, and when practising putting, the suspended strips are turned back upon the upper cross-bar and the ball is detached. An inclined channel 15 is provided to return the ball to the side of the apparatus. The apparatus may be dismounted and folded up for transport.
