166,311. Woods, R. S. March 13, 1920. Couplings; junction boxes.-The ends of single, twice or multicore cables, particularly lead covered cables, are secured to a plate a having radial arms c. The plate may carry lateral arms e which may be bent around the cables by means of a suitable tool. In a modification rings or loops f are closed tightly about the cable sa as to embrace also the radial arm. The plate is adapted to be secured to a support by means of a central screw through a hole b and may be enclosed by a hollow casing suitably secured to the plate.
