Side-cars. - In a motor-cycle side-car of the closed or landaulet type, the permanent head or upper part of the body has the forward portion 6 of the side adjacent to the motor-cycle cut away, recessed, or inclined away from the motor-cycle so as to provide a clearance to allow for the steering movements of the handle-bars. The other side of the side-car is approximately parallel to the motor-cycle and is provided with a hinged door. The inclined portion 6 may extend throughout the whole depth of the body.
