Tongs. - Sheet-metal workers' tongs are formed with a projection A on one of the jaws so that on gripping two metal sheets, plates, &c., the projection strikes against the edge of one of the sheets and separates it from the other. For handling more than two sheets at a time, a number of projections of different lengths may be provided on one or both of the jaws.
