Racket presses.-In a racket or like press 11 having a turn-down bolt at one corner, the shaped end 8 of the bolt is pivoted within a slot 7 formed in a base-plate 4 so that in its turneddown position the shaped end of the bolt lies completely within the slot and the bolt is retained in line with the base-plate by the bottom of the slot. The base-plate 4 may be recessed into the frame of the press.
