Abstract

162,149. Meyercord, G. R. March 3, 1920. Counters a n d like stands. - A toilet booth, enclosure, or shop counter consists of vitreous or other slabs, 30, 31 connected by slotted tubes or posts, the slabs having grooves on opposite sides to form necks which are slipped down the tubes. The tubes may be filled with plastic material. The lower ends of the tubes are closed by plugs or feet 2 and the tops by caps 13. Pins 11 connect the adjacent sections of slabs and are embedded in the cement between the slabs. Cross pieces 19 connect the caps 13. Doors 22 are hinged to castings slipped over the posts and held by bolts or rivets, and brackets or other fittings may be attached to the posts.
