Covers.-Loose-leaf binders in which the covers are hinged to clamping-bars are provided with renewable flexible wearing-pieces enclosing the clamping-bars and having a free edge secured by the filing-posts; renewable flexible corner and edge pieces are also provided. The covers a, preferably of polished wood, have renewable leather or other flexible pieces c around the clamping-bars d. one edge of the renewable piece being attached to the cover by a metal or other strip b, and the opposite edge being free and held in position by holes engaging the filing-posts e, slits being provided between the holes and the free edge to facilitate removal. The outer corners of the covers have pieces h secured on the inside of the cover by metal strips i and screws j. Similar pieces may be provided along the edges of the covers.
