Fixing.-A removable horseshoe 10 is adapted to be attached to the hoof by means of cupped spur-plates 12 of spring steel, provided with teeth 14 at the lower edge and mounted on clips 11 extending upwardly from the sides of the shoe, the curve of the plate in either direction being of less radius than that of the hoof to provide for resilient action between the shoe and the hoof. The spur-plates may be formed rectangular or circular in shape and slotted to provide branches capable of separate resilient action.
