156,365. Beech, G. Oct. 29, 1919. Writing-cases; blotting-appliances.-An attachÚ, dressing, or other case is fitted with a writing- pad, which rests on the surface of the case when in use and is stored in the lid when not in use. In the example illustrated, the case 1 has a lid 2 to which a pad 3 is hinged. When in use the pad 3 rests on the shoulders 5, and when out of use it is held up by the strap and fastening 7. Pockets to receive writing materials &c. are fitted to the under side of the pad and around the interior of the case.
