154,612. Penkala, L. Dec. 1, 1919, [Convention date]. Grids and gratings. - Straining surfaces are formed of curved or straight bars of trapezoidal cross section having milled laterally-projecting edges, the bars being fitted or clamped in frames formed with collecting-channels. Figs. 1 and 2 show bars with milling 4 at the top of one side and spacing bosses 2 below. The bars may be held in place by keys at their bases or by combshaped members 7, Fig. 6. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes also strainers with special forms of aperture, obtained bv milling, as shown in Figs. 7 (Cancelled) and 8 (Cancelled). This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
