Abstract

154,526. Cox, E. T. C. Sept. 27, 1920. Sun-dials.-Relates to compass sun-dials of the kind described in Specification 14858/15, and consists in substituting for the lens and mirror used in the prior construction a prismatic telescope m, pivotally mounted on a standard n fixed to the pointer e, that moves over the dial plate c. A slit o is provided in the underside of the telescope, so that the rays passing through the telescope are reflected on to the centre-line of the pointer e.
