1536075 Feeding apparatus BRINKMANN en NIEMEYER NV 1 Sept 1977 [2 Sept 1976] 36647/77 Heading AIM To ensure feeding of selected animals only, insertion of the head of a selected animal in opening 2 operates magnet switch 5 and moves plate 11 from full-line to dotted-line position to close opening 10 with valve 7. Food is then supplied by worm 4 and any food left when the animal withdraws its head falls through opening 10 into chamber 14, as plate 11 moves back to full-line position due to counterweight 13, and may be re-used.
