Abstract

1535261 Rotary conveyers AMERICAN CHAIN & CABLE CO Inc 28 Jan 1976 [29 Jan 1975] 03221/76 Addition to 1455775 Heading B8A Articles 20 (which may be parcels of mail) are transferred successively from a conveyer belt 12 to a tilting-tray-type endless conveyer 16 by the action of two rotary conveyers 10, 30. Each of the latter is controlled by respective sensors 92, 94. Further sensors are provided at 90 and 96. Limit switches 98 and 100 are operated respectively by each 90 degree turn of the conveyers 10 and 30. A further limit switch 108 is operated by cam lobes on a disc 70 of a disc brake for the conveyer 30. There are disc brakes 66 and 70 on each side of each of the rotary conveyers. A reset switch 114 is operable by the conveyer belt 12. A circuit diagram is described.
