Abstract

1534377 Golf game J F WYNNE 29 Sept 1977 [13 Jan 1977] 40526/77 Heading A6D A golf game has a fenced playing area with a target 11 at one end and a driving platform of several levels at the other end. The framework for the target may be rigid or collapsible and is divided into 51 equal sized scoring zones having points values as indicated on the Fig. The divisions may be formed by steel rods, cords, wire or wire rope. A fine mesh, strong net 12 is connected to horizontal members 13 and 14 and forms a channel at each scoring area to catch golf balls which then fall into a container at the base of each area. A separate chute and compartment is provided for hole 17 which corresponds to a hole in one. A number of players have a predetermined number of balls to drive, the balls being different colours or numbered. On completion scores are tallied in a scoring shed and the balls returned. The target may also be used for practice.
