1532936 Basins ALAPE ADOLF LAMPRECHT K G 12 Oct 1977 [1 Oct 1977] 42510/77 Heading A4N A sink 1 having a trough 4 and a generally horizontal peripheral edge 5 terminating in an outer edge 5a is built into a recess 2 in a table 3 utilizing a generally U-shaped decorative covering ring 7 having free ends 7a, 7b in cross-section which extend beyond the edges and are sealed adjacent the trough and to the table 3 respectively. The ring is preferably of chrome-plated acrylonitrilebutadiene-styrene and has integral securing pins 8 extending through holes in the edge 5. An additional moisture seal 6 may be provided and the sink may alternatively be provided with a step as shown in dotted lines.
