Abstract

1532279 Slicing machines DANEPAK Ltd 20 May 1977 [19 May 1976] 20608/76 Heading A4C [Also in Division G3] In a food (e.g. bacon) slicing machine the speed of a ram, advancing the food to be sliced, and a rotary knife are automatically regulated, the latter by control of an electromagnetic slip coupling in the knife drive. The speed of a conveyer removing the sliced food is also regulated, but this speed may be increased temporarily when a pre-set number of slices are reached. The machine may be used to slice cheese, fish, bacon, sausage or other meat products, whether cooked or uncooked.
