Abstract

1531782 Foaming a frothing agent I D C CHEMIE AG 17 Aug 1976 [19 Aug 1975] 34224/76 Heading B1C A frothing agent and pressurised air are mixed in a zone 10 and then passed through an annular chamber 12 in which the direction of travel of the mixture is changed as the mixture is alternately expanded and contracted to form a foam. Partitions 13 and 14 divide the chamber 12 into a number of individual chambers 15 and define alternate outer and inner annular passages 19 and 18 respectively. Glass globules 20 are contained in the individual chambers.
