Abstract

1531729 Material level probes BRITISH STEEL CORP 20 Feb 1976 [21 Feb 1975] 7380/75 Heading G1G A level detector probe comprises a vibrator 16 and a detector element 17 mounted diametrically opposite one another on a circular steel plate 15, the detector element being capable of detecting damping of the transmitted vibrations due to the presence adjacent the steel plate of material contained in a container 11. A plurality of probes may be mounted as the same or different levels of a container, each probe covering an aperture in the container wall.
