Abstract

1530592 Fluid-pressure servomotor systems MASSEY FERGUSON SERVICES NV 17 Nov 1975 [18 Nov 1974] 49803/74 Heading G3P The swash-plate 12 of a variable capacity machine is adjusted by a servopiston 35 controlled by a valve 26 operated in accordance with the product of machine displacement and output pressure. A lever 24 pivoted at 25 is actuated by a plunger 23 moved outwardly by pressure in a conduit 20 and displaced with respect to the pivot 25 by a sleeve 17 coupled with the swash-plate. The servopiston is also coupled with the sleeve by a protruberance 39 in engagement with slots in a pair of levers 41, 45 one of which has a knob 46 for direct hand operation. In a second embodiment, a pair of reversible swash-plate machines are coupled through a linkage (99) Fig. 2 (not shown) with a servopiston (93) controlled by a valve (80) connected with pistons (66) by levers (76, 69) which cause the valve (80) to move in the same direction for either direction of movement of the swash-plate from its neutral position. A plunger (113) provided with a hand lever may also be used to operate the linkage (99). Each swash-plate may have a separate servo control (52, 53) coupled to the piston (93) through the linkage (99) and a linkage similar to that shown at 41, 45 in Fig. 1.
