1529792 Manhole shaft liners B HERBERT 24 Nov 1975 [22 Aug 1974] 36887/74 Heading E1C A manhole shaft of rectangular, circular, hexagonal or other cross-section is lined by one or more pairs of superposed identical concrete tubes 11, 12 alternately inverted so that semi-circular edge recesses 13 mate to form thin knock-outs for pipework. Each tube 11, 12 may have a ridge 14 forming a rebate so that superposed pairs define peripheral grooves for mortar.
