1529525 Refuse bins GEECO PRODUCTS Ltd 29 July 1977 [4 Aug 1976] 32380/76 Heading A4A [Also in Division E2] In a refuse bin having a swing lid 3, the pivoting means for the lid comprises a pin 4 engaged in an aperture 5, said aperture having a detent 5a which is co-operable with a recess in the pin such that when the lid is swung to a generally vertical position, the lid is retained in the open position by the engagement of the detent in the recess.
