Abstract

1529401 Hangers DENNISON Mfg CO Ltd 12 Jan 1976 01050/76 Heading A4U [Also in Divisions B5 and B8] A mounting loop for hanging a scarf or handkerchief for display, or a hanger loop for a skirt comprises a filament D at one end of which is a laterally extending bar E and at the other end a hollow body F having an opening 16 of less width than the interior 12 of the body, so that the bar can be passed into the body, forming a closed loop. Fig. 2 shows a plurality of such devices moulded integrally with a support bar 46 on breaking pieces 48. The bar and body and protrusions 18, 22, Fig. 3 (not shown), are so designed that the bar cannot be withdrawn from the body without destroying the device. The end wall of the body is heat sealed to the body, e.g. a wall 56 moulded in one piece with the body so as to be attached thereto by a hinge. The body may be moulded with a flange surrounding the body near wall 56 to act as a heat sink to prevent heat sealing of the end wall from affecting the remainder of the body or the connection of filament D. Adjacent bodies in the assembly of Fig. 2 may be connected by breaking pieces.
