Abstract

1528073 Blood pumps A M BRUNO 15 March 1976 12776/78 Divided out of 1528072 Heading A5R The subject matter of this specification is substantially identical with that described in the parent specification but the claims are concerned with a cardiocirculatory assist device comprising a cannula 10 adapted to be introduced along an artery so that an inlet valve adjacent its tip 25 is located in the left ventricle and an outlet valve downstream thereof is located in the aorta, blood being pumped from the heart during cardiac systole and into the aorta during diastole.
