Abstract

1526024 Underground heat accumulators A FEIST 2 March 1976 08194/76 Heading F4U An underground heat accumulator comprises a heat-insulating casing 16 open at the bottom and buried in the ground so that earth enclosed in the casing serves as a heat storage medium. Primary 20 and secondary 22 pipe circuits pass through the enclosed earth out of direct physical contact with one another. The pipe circuits are preferably disposed on the front and rear surfaces of a single carrier 18 formed either from metal or synthetic material.
