1525994 Bags for bulk materials J & L F GOODBODY Ltd 9 Feb 1977 [11 Feb 1976 28 May 1976] 05475/76 and 22453/76 Heading B8K A bag for bulk material is formed from a panel member 10 of woven material which has its free ends 12 tapered and joined together so that the member 10 forms the front, 13, rear, 14, and bottom walls, 15, and the top 16 of the bag, and side wall panels 17 also of woven material securely jointed to the member 10. The member 10 may be of woven polypropylene and have integral reinforcing bands 11 of woven polypropylene, polyester, nylon, or cotton, or of extra thickness formed by folding a portion of the member 10 upon itself. The tapered portions 12 may be formed by folding and joined by stitching or clips. The bag may include a polyethylene liner, a delivery shoot, and/or an outer protective cover.
