1523433 Waterproof power cable DELTA ENFIELD CABLES Ltd 15 Sept 1975 [14 June 1974] 26529/74 Heading H1A A power cable comprises an insulated core 10, a corrugated metal sheath 12 and axially extending barriers of waterproof material 13 which completely fill sections of the space between the core and sheath. The material may be introduced into the space by discontinuous pumping, or may be formed as a cylinder on the core and separated into discs by blasts of air (Fig. 3, not shown). The material may be a wax-like mass impregnated non-draining compound.
