Abstract

1522828 Plastics suit bag D H HYDORN 12 Nov 1975 [17 Oct 1975] 46707/75 Heading B8K [Also in Division B5] A plastics suit bag 10 has a bag portion having rectangular walls, a handle, 12, 14 secured at each end of the bag portion, and a slit or opening extending between the bag ends to provide the sole means of entry to the bag. Each handle has a bar portion 26 welded to one end of the bag, an integral hand grip portion 24, a suit hanging means, e.g. a hook 28, opposite the hand grip and within the bag, and fastening means which, when the bag walls are folded centrally of their lengths, co-operate with the fastening means of the other handle to secure the handles together face-to-face with the hand-grip portions aligned. The handles may be welded between the walls or to the outside of one of them, and one of the hand grips may receive a hook 64. The opening may, as shown, be in one wall of the bag, or at one edge thereof. In the latter case it may have closure means such as an integrally moulded strip fastener. Where the opening is provided by overlapping portions 17, 19 the portion 17 may be folded bag inside the bag and welded to form pockets.
