Abstract

For the purpose of obtaining a perfect mixing of the mixtures intended for taking the impression and of simplifying the operations involved in said impression taking, mixing takes place, in a complete manner and mechanically, of a first mixture composed of a silicone mass and a catalyst, which are contained, in premetered quantities, respectively in a container (1) having a cover (2) and in the cavity (3) of said cover; said mixture is introduced into the impression carrier and a first impression is taken on the patient. Mixing then takes place, in a complete manner and mechanically, of a second mixture which is also composed of a silicone fluid and a catalyst, which are contained in premetered quantities in a container similar to the first (10, 14, 15): part of said second mixture is injected into the gingival zones of the teeth and onto said first impression by means of a pressure syringe (10, 12), and finally a second final impression is taken on the patient. <IMAGE>
