Pads &c.-The spring-arms a, Fig. 1, padholders e, and clips f for clothes &c., of tongslike devices for cleaning both sides of windows simultaneously, may be formed of a single length of wire with, if desired, a coil c. The holders e may each comprise a double frame of triangular or other shape the parts of which are in parallel planes and are formed of several convolutions of the wire one with the other. As shown in Fig. 4, triangular plates q are secured to collars r screwed on to the arms a, three-legged spring clips s bearing on the backs of the plates q being held between the collars r and nuts p.
