Abstract

1519776 Oven rack J H BARDER 22 Oct 1975 [22 Oct 1974] 45669/74 Heading A4D A rack to support food in an oven is in the form of a trough with feet, the rack comprising a pair of interengaged generally quadrilateral grids 10, 12 adapted to be separated when not in use, the grids being constructed and assembled together so that they intersect, each grid forming one side of the trough and a foot on the other side of the rack. As shown, each wire grid 10 or 12 comprises sides 18 or 20 inter-connected by ends 14 or 16 and bars 22, 24, 26 or 28, 30, 32. One grid 10 is longer than the other 12 so that they may be fitted one within the other with the bars 26, 32 engaging in notches provided so that the rack may be assembled in two alternative positions Fig. 4 (not shown) giving a wider or narrower trough.
