Abstract

1518830 Dolls, &c S NISHIZAWA 29 Dec 1975 53021/75 Heading A6S [Also in Division B5] A doll for use with interchangeable dresses, &c comprises front and back sheets 2, 4, Figs. 1, 2, of p.v.c. or other plastics welded together along their edges 1 with a layer of foamed plastics 12, Fig. 3, sandwiched between, bendable wires 24..28 supporting the doll and the sheets being printed to simulate the front and back 6, 9 of the doll's head, &c. The interchangeable dresses consist of front and back sheets 102, 104, 105, Figs. 5, 6, of plastics, cloth, &c. secured together around their edges except for neck and leg apertures 108, 110 and printed with coloured designs. The back 104, 105 of the dress is in two parts with overlapped edges 118, 119. To prevent curling, the inner surfaces of the dress sheets 102, &c. are at least in part coated with a substance of similar composition to that applied to the outside surfaces. A dress to be put on the doll may have a slot for a feather, &c., Fig. 9 (not shown), as may a hat, Fig. 10 (not shown). A simulated book has a slot by which it can be attached to the doll's hand, Fig. 11 (not shown).
