Abstract

1517145 Transfer printing of synthetic fibre materials FASTRAN AG 11 March 1977 10359/77 Addition to 1284824 Heading D1B Cotton and derivatives thereof and synthetic fibre materials are impregnated with an aqueous padding medium followed by transfer printing using paper transfers at a temperature of 80 - 120‹C at a pressure of up to 10 Ibs per square inch for a period not exceeding 10 minutes, the material then being washed and dried. Preferred padding medium comprises aqueous acidic liquid phase containing an acid resistant thickener.
